Many sportmen use heart beat data within their training sessions. Heart beat data is downloaded from the measuring device (a watch) and stored locally on a personal computer.

The Geo Beat project aims at storing heart beat data in the SportLog domain. 

When heart beat data is available in SportLog it can be combined with other data, like route- and position information. In this way training advances can be analysed with respect to the choosen track. The integration of heart beat data and geo-information wil be further explored in the Geo Beat project. The project is realised by Smart Position and supported by Suunto.
