Enterprise Architecture Language

The tree rooted in this node is a reference manual for the ArchiMate enterprise architecture language. Each concept is defined and its relation with other concepts is unambiguously set down. A graphical notation for the concepts is proposed. By means of this notation an example model for the possible usage of each concept is illustrated. Also, a glossary with relevant architectural terms and definitions is provided within this subtree.
ArchiMate focuses on organisations that offer "information products": i.e., information-intensive organisations, in particular in the financial sector. This means that concepts to model, e.g., physical stocks and logistics are not included in our metamodel.
